iPark Strengthens Its Commitment to Gender Equality Through Its Equality Plan
- Although the Equality Plan has been mandatory for companies with more than 50 employees since 2022, 30% have yet to sign up to it.
iPark, a leading mobility company in Spain and Portugal, has reinforced its Equality Plan with the aim of fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment. This plan reaffirms the company’s commitment to gender equality and non-discrimination across all areas of its operations.
The purpose of iPark’s Equality Plan is to ensure equal opportunities for all its employees through a set of strategic measures aimed at promoting fairness in the workplace. As part of this initiative, actions have been taken to increase female representation in leadership roles, encourage gender-sensitive hiring practices, and ensure that internal policies are inclusive and non-sexist.
The company has adopted a comprehensive approach to work-life balance, implementing measures that support a healthy balance for all staff. iPark has also reviewed its compensation policies and, following a wage audit, confirmed that there are no gender-based pay gaps.
Additionally, the company has reinforced a Sexual Harassment Protocol, ensuring a safe and discrimination-free workplace. It has also implemented an LGBTQ+ Protocol designed to guarantee a visible and respectful environment for all identities.
“At iPark, we believe that equal opportunity is essential for building a healthy and sustainable work environment. Our Equality Plan is not only a legal requirement but also a true investment in our staff’s well-being and in the quality of our organisation. We remain committed to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where everyone has the same opportunity to grow and succeed,” says Juan Manuel Mogarra, CEO of iPark.
Despite the legal obligation for all companies with more than 50 employees to implement an Equality Plan since 2022, 30% of these companies have yet to sign up to one.
With this plan, iPark underscores its dedication to creating a workplace that values diversity and promotes equity, enhancing both employee well-being and the company’s long-term competitiveness and sustainability.
